According to SkyBridge Capital founder global hedge fund Anthony Scaramuncci, Elon Musk has more than US$5 billion in Bitcoin.
The former White House communications director added this amount was an accumulation of Tesla, SpaceX, and private lines, quoted from financial express.
He said he didn't collect cryptocurrencies. He only has 0.25 BTC delivered by his friend many years ago.
"I actually have zero cryptocurrency, in addition to the 0.25 BTC that a friend sent me many years ago," he wrote on his personal Elon Musk Twitter account.
In an interview at the Clubhouse that took place in early February, Elon Musk admitted he was a bitcoin supporter. He even claimed it was too late to use the digital money.
Tesla announced it had invested US$1.5 billion in Bitcoin. The reason is to maximize the company's cash return and review alternative payment options.
